Point McKay is a Calgary community that is right beside the Bow River. It is bordered by Bowness Road on the northern edge and 37 Street West on the eastern side, and it is accessed by a few streets off Bowness Road. The communities nearby Point McKay are Parkdale (which has more single-family homes) and Montgomery (which has a diverse mixture of housing options). Across the Bow River is the SW community of Wildwood, which can be accessed via a pedestrian bridge across the river.
With many condos and attached houses, Point McKay has many properties for its size. There are a few high-rise condo complexes, including the Riverside Towers that has units with amazing views of the Bow River valley and downtown.
