Rosedale is a NW Calgary neighbourhood within walking distance of downtown. It is located up from the Bow River, on a bluff that overlooks the river valley and downtown. Many homes in Rosedale have spectacular views of the south, especially the properties along Crescent Road. Down the hill is the community of Sunnyside, to the west is Briar Hill, to the east is Crescent Heights and across 16 Avenue North is Mount Pleasant.
