Confederation Park is a long park that extends from the Queen’s Park Cemetery to the Confederation Golf Course. On the northern border of the park is Rosemont. The NW community extends from the park to Northmount Drive, and it is in between 10 Street West and 14 Street West. With few through-roads in the community, Rosemont is a quiet neighbourhood with all residential propeties.
Rosemont real estate includes mostly detached houses. The properties on the southern edge line Confederation Park and have amazing views of the park and downtown. Houses on Roselawn Crescent look out on endless trees and grassy parks. There are a few smaller condo complexes in the northern side of the community, near Northmount Drive. Rosemont is surrounded by residential neighbourhoods, including Cambrian Heights, Queens Park Village, Mount Pleasant, Capitol Hill and Collingwood.
Both 10 Street West and 14 Street West offer quick commutes to downtown. Calgary Transit buses run regularly up and down both roads. Buses also connect to the LRT stations along Crowchild Trail, which travel to SAIT, the University of Calgary and beyond to the northwest.
There is a small shopping centre in the top corner of Rosemont. Just beyond that are additional shopping plazas, and down Northmount Drive there are more shopping and services. Rosemont is also home to an elementary school, and the community association runs hall rentals and events for residents.
