Sunnyside is a NW neighbourhood in Calgary located just north of downtown. It is not only within a walkable distance to downtown, but also to SAIT, the Bow River pathway and the many shops and restaurants along Kensington Road. The community is located north of the Bow River, and it is bounded by 10 Street West on the western border, Centre Street on the eastern side, Memorial Drive on the southern border and a large hill (McHugh Bluff) to the north.

Memorial Drive is a main route going west-east. Along the road are bike and pedestrians pathways that follow the Bow River throughout the city.
As one of Calgary’s oldest neighbourhoods (it was established in 1904), Sunnyside real estate includes character houses, modern redevelopments, attached homes and a few condos, both large and small. Communities nearby include Rosedale, Crescent Heights and Hillhurst.
