East Calgary is bordered by Deerfoot Trail, Memorial Drive and Barlow Trail. The Bow River Valley is situated on the western edge of the East Calgary and the city limits are on the opposite side.
Commuting into and from East Calgary is fast. Deerfoot Trail, Memorial Drive and Barlow Trail all offer fast commutes north-south and into downtown. The Calgary Transit LRT runs from downtown along Memorial Drive, until heading north on 32 Street NE.
