Collingwood is a Calgary neighbourhood located on the edge of both Confederation Park and Nose Hill Park. It is between 14 Street West and 19 Street West, south of John Laurie Boulevard. The main road through the community is Northmount Drive, which has a few stores, schools and restaurants. There are a few Calgary Transit bus routes that run through and nearby the community, and the LRT runs nearby along Crowchild Trail.
With many types of single-family houses, Collingwood real estate features homes with both traditional and modern styles. There are a few condos in the community also, particularly along Northmount Drive.
The communities nearby Collingwood vary in styles and amenities. Charleswood (to the west) and Cambrian Heights (to the east) are most similar to Collingwood. Rosemont is located to the southwest and is a smaller neighbourhood with houses overlooking a bluff. To the south are Banff Trail and Capitol Hill, which feature more stores, restaurants and hotels.
