McMahon Stadium is located nearby the University of Calgary and is home to the Calgary Stampeders CFL team.

The North West region of Calgary stretches from the northern limits of the city to 16 Avenue North, and from the western border to Nose Hill Park. There is a lot of choice when it comes to NW Calgary homes for sale.

Nose Hill Park is a large urban park on the eastern side of North West Calgary. The. park is a large grassland nature area with pathways, trails and off-leash areas. Communities nearby the park include Edgemont, Brentwood, Charleswood and Collingwood.

With the Calgary Transit NW LRT line, commutes to downtown and to the deep south are quick and easy. Train stations are located all along Crowchild Trail, offering great transit access to communities including Tuscany, Rocky Ridge, Arbour Lake, Silver Springs and Dalhousie.
