North Calgary Features

North Calgary is one of Calgary’s smaller regions but it is rich in residential neighbourhoods. It is located on the west side of Deerfoot Trail and extends north past Stoney Trail. Nose Hill Park – one of Calgary’s largest parks – is situated in the region and is larger than any single community in North Calgary.

Most of North Calgary is composed of residential communities. Many of these communities surround Nose Hill Park: MacEwan Glen, Beddington Heights, Huntington Hills, Upper North Haven and North Haven.

Many of the newer communities are located nearby Stoney Trail, Calgary’s main ring road. These communities have modern styles of homes in a variety of sizes – perfect for Calgarians seeking both starter and luxury houses. Livingston, Carrington and Nolan Hill are some of the newer communities.
