Thorncliffe is a community that is north of downtown in both the NE and NW quadrants. It stretches from McKnight Boulevard to 64 Avenue North, from John Laurie Boulevard to Deerfoot Trail. The residential communities nearby Thorncliffe are Huntington Hills to the north, Upper North Haven and North Haven to the west, and Highwood and Highland Park to the south.
The neighbourhood was established in 1954 and now has a variety of homes and condos. Thorncliffe real estate has older and newer styles, with mostly detached houses. There are also a few condos and attached homes in the neighbourhood.
