Deer Run is a neighbourhood in SE Calgary, located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail. It is surrounded on the southern and eastern edges by Fish Creek Park, right near where Fish Creek enters the Bow River. To the north of the neighbourhood is Deer Ridge and across Bow Bottom Trail is Parkland.
Bow Bottom Trail connects directly to Deerfoot Trail, and from there commutes to the south and north (including downtown) are fast. Canyon Meadows Drive is located on the northern edge of Deer Run and travels to Macleod Trail. Calgary Transit runs a bus route through the community that connects to the Canyon Meadows LRT station.
Homes in the neighbourhood were built in the 1980s. Deer Run real estate is mostly single-family homes, and there are also a few attached townhomes in the community.
