Diamond Cove is located near the intersection of Anderson Drive and Deerfoot Trail. It is accessed by one entrance off Bow Bottom Trail. Deerfoot Trail travels from the northern edge of the city to the southern, and passes nearby downtown. Calgary Transit serves the community with a bus route that travels through the entrance of the community.
Nearby to the south is the community of Queensland, which was built around 20 years earlier. Across Bow Bottom Trail is Bonavista Downs. South of Queensland are the communities of Deer Run and Deer Ridge.
