Kelvin Grove is located in SW Calgary just south of Glenmore Trail, in between Elbow Drive and 14 Street West. Kelvin Grove real estate is diverse. Large crescents are home to a variety of styles of detached homes that range in size. The south side of Glenmore Trail is lined with condos and townhomes, in addition to a few commercial buildings.

There is easy access into Kelvin Grove off 14 Street West and Elbow Drive. Commutes to downtown are fast, whether by Elbow Drive, Macleod Trail or Calgary Transit. Buses regularly run in the community and the Heritage LRT station is nearby.

Surrounding neighbourhoods (Chinook Park, Haysboro and Kingsland) offer similar styles and sizes of homes. Across 14 Street West is Eagle Ridge, which has more secluded properties.

There are two schools within Kelvin Grove – Chinook Park School and Henry Wise Wood High School. Kelvin Grove also has an active community association along with Eagle Ridge and Chinook Park.
