Woodlands is located in SW Calgary, south of Anderson Road and north of Fish Creek Provincial Park. It is halfway between Macleod Trail and 37 Street West (the western boundary of Calgary). Woodlands is nearby outdoor and indoor recreation, with parks, golf courses and recreation centres within minutes of the community. Fish Creek Provincial Park is one of North America’s largest urban parks. It extends across the city and contains many pathways, picnic sites, nature walks and scenic viewpoints.
