Valley Ridge is a NW Calgary community located on the far west side of the city. It is north of 16 Avenue North (Trans Canada Highway) and west of Stoney Trail. It is a 15 minute drive to downtown and access to the Alberta foothills and Rocky Mountains is fast and easy via 16 Avenue North. The community is accessed from an entrance off 16 Avenue.
As a newer community (Valley Ridge was established in 1992), the community has modern homes in a variety of styles. Valley Ridge real estate includes mostly detached houses, with a few attached houses in the eastern side of the the neighbourhood. Many homes have beautiful backyards and back onto natural forests, the Bow River or the Valley Ridge Golf Club.
