We have been working in the Calgary real estate market as traditional Realtors.
We are very enthusiastic that our Calgary Real Estate Board has finally started to embrace the Green philosophy and has implemented some green initiatives that we, as Realtors, have been waiting for to enhance our company, GreenRealtyAlberta.
In order to be able to advise our clients on all green aspects that can be involved in dealing in real estate, we have furthered our education, resulting in Tanja receiving her GREEN designation from the Green Resource Council of the National Association of REALTORS. As well, Tanja is now part of a select group of only 18 (of 5400+) Calgary Realtors of the GO Green Challenge initiated by theCalgary Real Estate Board.
For us, “GREEN”, as linked to real estate, can best be described as living in and around one’s home in a way that is friendly to the environment we live in and to the resources we use, so we can pass along as healthy a world as possible to next generations.
