Support your cause or organization through fresh stroopwafels and quality tea! Along with the Naked Leaf Tea Shop, our stroopwafel fundraiser is a unique and tasty Calgary fundraising idea. We make fresh stroopwafels (thin waffles with a sweet syrup filling) and the Naked Leaf pitches in a cup of quality tea. All of the money then goes toward your cause – we don’t take one penny!
Every November we organize a fundraiser at the Naked Leaf Tea shop. We bake fresh stroopwafels and Jonathan from the Naked Leaf gives out tea. All of the money goes to a Calgary charity, with different charities every year. If you would like to be our next charity, contact us and tell us more about your cause. We love supporting local organizations that are making the world a better place.
But what do stroopwafels and real estate have in common? Absolutely nothing! The common denominator here is us. Being Dutch, we grew up on these cookies and have fond memories of eating steaming hot stroopwafels at the outdoor market! Now we sincerely enjoy making stroopwafels. And by some funny accident (let’s keep the story short), we happen to own a commercial graded and professional stroopwafel machine. It was just standing in a storage for a while, before we decided to find a way to put the machine to work.

Please note that we need enough notice to make the dough and prepare syrup. We will want to display our real estate sign at the event. We also need to make sure your charity is aligned with our business, but we are happy to work with charities that are making a positive difference in Calgary and the world.
