Mahogany is located south of Stoney Trail, in between 52 Street East and 88 Street East. This modern community features homes and condos in many styles, including both attached houses and estates. Other communities nearby are Copperfield, McKenzie Towne, Auburn Bay and Seton (which is home to the South Health Campus, major shopping centres and other businesses).
There are a few communities in Calgary that have lakes, such as Lake Bonavista and Sundance. Mahogany is one of the newest lake communities. The community has a large lake on the western side of the community and on the eastern side is a wetland. Both water bodies are lined with beautiful homes, and there is a small island with island estates in the middle of Mahogany Lake.
Along the lake are also beaches and park space. The community has a beach club, events and programming run by the homeowners’ association. There is an market areas with shops, stores and dining spots, and there are many major shopping centres located nearby in Seton and McKenzie Lake.
Mahogany is easy to access via 52 Street East. With connections to Stoney Trail and Deerfoot Trail, commutes around the city are a breeze. There is also a Calgary Transit bus route that connects to shopping, the South Health Campus and other transit routes that go to downtown.
